NCS hosts AECG meeting

NCS hosted the AECG (Aboriginal Education Consultative Group) meeting on 15 August. The monthly meetings aim to improve the educational outcomes for all students and is the AECG is the peak advisory body for Aboriginal Education in NSW.

The meeting attracts members from all local schools, including preschools. Mr Bray and Mrs Stewart regularly attend the meetings which provide NCS with up-to-date and focused programs and educational opportunities from an Indigenous perspective.

Sharni B gave the Acknowledgment of Country which was very moving and appreciated by all who attended. An impressive afternoon tea followed the meeting and provided a special time for building relationships in our community.
