Our School is aware of the unique challenges facing children of Australian Defence Force (ADF) members. More than 15% of our school population come from Defence families.

As a result, we have employed a Defence School Mentor, Mrs Adrienne Varga, whose primary role is to provide support to these families. In particular, Mrs Varga’s focus is to assist families to minimise the impact of moving from school to school and to develop strategies to cope with frequent change and parental absences. 

As a school, we celebrate the contributions our Defence families make to our community and the strengths and experiences they bring. We are also committed to supporting these families as they face the challenges of the military lifestyle.
