Salad Faces

Besides a visit to some local dairy farms, 3/4T concluded their Term 1 Science unit 'What's On Your Plate' by making some healthy 'salad face' snacks. They grew their own sprouts to use for hair as part of an investigation into plant growth. Students then followed a recipe and worked as a team to slice veggies and measure and mix ingredients to make a tasty avocado and cream cheese spread. The final ingredient was a dash of creativity to transform their salad into art!
