Year 8 Go Op Shopping

On Tuesday, the Year 8 Textiles Technology class travelled to the Salvos Store in South Nowra to source fabrics for their textiles project. The project requires them to re-purpose materials to use in creating a cover. They were told their budget and sent shopping.

It was an enjoyable morning, rifling through racks of clothes and odds and ends, finding the right look for their projects. We even struck it lucky because it was 50% off tagged items! As always, the students were a delight to take on an excursion and we all came in under budget.
