Secondary Girls Zone Basketball

Congratulations to the girls involved in the zone basketball championships at Illawarra Sports Stadium, Berkeley on Monday 31 July. Both teams in the junior and senior competitions represented our school well, played hard and seemed to enjoy the sport. Highlights included seeing the girls playing so well as a team, supporting each other.

Our junior girls got a win in the final game of the day against Calderwood Christian School. Great determination was shown all day from Alyssa Smart and Charlotte Dickinson. Rebounding, defence and game experience was very helpful from Isabelle McPhail and Tahlera Palmer.

Our senior girls team had two wins on the day against ICS Cordeaux and Southern Highlands Christian School. The girls worked well together. Stand out defence was Taylah Anderson and most persistent effort goes to Rauri Von Prott and Lydia Burrow.

Well done to all the girls and a big thank you to the parents who were able to be drivers and supporters on the day.
