Mr Graeme Jolliffe announced as NCS Principal for 2023

The Nowra Christian School Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Graeme Jolliffe as Nowra Christian School's Principal from 2023.

Mr Jolliffe brings to NCS 26 years’ experience in Christian education, including five years as Principal of Casino Christian School in the NSW Northern Rivers district. He is a science teacher, having studied organic chemistry at the University of NSW before studying education at both UNSW and Morling College. Mr Jolliffe is married to Karen, who is a maths teacher, and they have five adult children.

The Board was impressed with Mr Jolliffe’s commitment to quality, authentic, Bible-based Christian education and also his commitment to working alongside and supporting staff to help them deliver that positive Christian education experience in partnership with parents and carers.

Mr Jolliffe will replace Mr Bray who has served as NCS Principal for almost six years. During this time Mr Bray has made a remarkable impact on the school and community. Under his leadership the school has grown in size, in academic quality and fostered greater depth and strength of Christian community. He has supported students and staff to work together to achieve more in the classroom, on the sporting field, on stage and in the community. All the while, Mr Bray has ensured a strong focus remained on delivering a quality Christian education centred on knowing Christ and reflecting his Word in all aspects of teaching and school life at Nowra Christian School. The Board is very grateful for Mr Bray’s contribution and we will have more to say when he is officially farewelled later this year.

The Nowra Christian School Board is thankful to our great God for his timely provision of Mr Joliffe and have every confidence in his ability to faithfully lead the school in partnering with families to equip students for life through the provision of quality, Christ-centred education, founded on Biblical values.

Please join with the Board in praying for him as he prepares to take up this important position in 2023 and for Mr Bray as he prepares to transition into enjoying a well-earned retirement.
