Once again, Year 8 have been working at their keyboards learning French in a frenzy of activity, over a ten day period, to try to become this year’s NCS language champion.
Though the battle was fierce, in the end, Maddie Pedro took out the honours with 4,028 points and a Gold certificate. Cassie Beavan was second with 2,484 points and in third place Izzy McPhail took the Bronze with 1755 points.
We are in the schools of 1-50 students category (with 24 students). Other exciting statistics within the category include:
· First in NSW for French (17 schools)
· Third in Australia for French (65 schools)
· 669th globally for all categories (1302 schools)
What an amazing effort! Well done Year 8 for our best results ever!!!
