Stage 3 Basketball Gala Day

On Thursday 15 September our Stage 3 Basketballers participated in the second annual Shoalhaven Stage 3 Primary Basketball Gala Day at Bomaderry Basketball Stadium.

NCS entered two teams of boys and a team of girls. There were wins for all three teams in the group stages. Boys A team beat Nowra Public 15-10, with Azriel McMillan and Nathan Herring, stand out players. Boys B team beat Nowra Public 8-4 with Levi White, Matt Spinks, Nathan Groves and Jye Moore all contributing well.

The girls had a massive 30-0 win over Nowra Public, with Julia McMillan and Tahlera Palmer contributing strongly.

All three teams made the quarter and semi-finals.

All students participated with enthusiasm and represented their school very well.

Huge thanks to one of our Secondary boys, Noah McMillan, who coached the teams with great maturity on the day and also took lunchtime training sessions in the months leading up to the gala day. Your enthusiasm for the game is infectious!
