Bringing smiles to residents at Jean Ross House

This term classes from NCS have been able to resume our visits to Jean Ross House. Children from 1T and 1H walked over to meet the residents and bring some sunshine to their day. On our first visit, we sang some songs, chatted with the residents and read them a story. Then we decorated cupcakes with icing and sprinkles - YUM!

When we returned this week, they were so excited to see us again. This time we sang 'Light of the World' and 'My God is So Big'. We then made a beautiful artwork about Springtime and gave them to the residents to put in their rooms. It has been lovely to see the children looking forward to these visits, and being reminded of the importance of grandparents and families.
