Years 7/8 Touch Football Gala Day

Students from Years 7 and 8 traveled to Milton last Tuesday to take part in an all-schools event run by Touch NSW involving schools from around the Shoahaven. For most of our students it was their first taste of Touch Football. Both of our boys teams and our girls team acquitted themselves extremely well against older opposition.

The most pleasing part of the day was the way in which our students interacted with each other and the opposing teams and the rate at which they picked up the finer points of the game.

This day will put our junior teams in an excellent position to compete at the CSSA Zone Touch gala day coming up in week 8 this term.
