Hamlet Symposium

On Friday 16 June, the Advanced English class travelled to Sydney to attend a symposium which explored the text "Hamlet."

It was a long day as we caught the train at 6.30 am and returned at 6.30 pm. The day was very worthwhile as students were able to see various scenes of the play performed and discussed.

Five hundred students attended the symposium.

Students from NCS found the discussion interesting as there were opportunities for students to give their opinion about various aspects of the text. We enjoyed lunch in Newtown before catching the train home again.
