On Monday 4 November the Secondary Concert Band had the opportunity to go to Huskisson Park and Vincentia Marketplace to play 14 songs for the community.
It was a wonderful experience and the community really loved the music we were playing. It was hard to play outside because there were no walls to bounce our sound off. I really enjoyed playing in Vincentia marketplace because there were lots of walls so we were very loud and had a large audience to play for.
We would like to say thank you to Mrs Lawrence for organizing such a lovely day, to Mr West for driving us and our equipment to and from the event, to Mr Drury for playing the trumpet and filling a massive hole in our band, to Mr Bray for coming and supporting us and finally to all the parents/carers who came and encouraged us and supported us.
This was an amazing experience and I really enjoyed my day.
