Our State Cross Country Team had a great day at the International Equestrian Centre last Friday. We sent a team of nine students, all of whom have qualified during the Cross Country unit in PE lessons during second term.
Most of the age groups have between 150 and 200 competitors at this level, so there is very strong competition in every race. Our students showed a very good team spirit, although it was a little disappointing that several of our better runners were unable to attend due to other commitments.
Congratulations to all of our students who competed: Alyssa Smart, Leo McMillan, Hunter Lynch, Lincoln Davie, Cassie Beavan, Jemimah Parker, Maddie Pedro, Jayden Blackmore and Blake Skewes.
A huge thanks to parents who assisted, came to support their runners or provided transport. Your help is a blessing to our school and very much appreciated.
