Jack has been tutoring brass since 2010, with an emphasis on imparting his joy and love of
music playing to the next generation. Since completing high school in 2012, Jack has honed
his teaching style and forged a career path tutoring students at homes and schools
throughout the Illawarra and South Coast Regions as well as conducting bands and small

ensembles. It was not long before Jack created Accel Music Tutors to offer other like-
minded musicians and tutors the opportunity to do what he did whilst under the banner of a larger body and team.

When it comes to music experience, Jack has involved himself with many local bands and
projects such as the Wollongong Conservatorium Jazz Orchestra, ISER Performing Ensemble,
Southern Stars, and South Coast Big Band. This also extends to musical theatre productions
from schools and companies all over the region such as Wollongong HS, Shellharbour
Anglican College, Nowra Anglican College, Roo Theatre, Phoenix Theatre, Arcadians, and ‘So
Popera Productions’ (Shows including, but not limited to, Chicago, West Side Story, Legally
Blond, Les Miserable, Beauty and the Beast, Grease, A Chorus Line, Singing in the Rain, and
Into the Woods).
Jack is looking forward to introducing students to the world of music here at NCS and
flourishing that talent into a love of playing.
