All the world's a stage

Year 10 and Stage 5 Drama were excited to see 'Macbeth' in the Sydney Opera house last week.

One of the things that stood out to us was the mood of the theatre. For example, there were large, rock-like, stage pieces that had eyes projected on them. This created a dark, creepy mood and unsettled us when the eyes moved unexpectedly.

The director decided to mix two styles of drama. These were contemporary and classic, presented through the original themes and urban street style of the three witches.

Finally, the chance to see a play in the Sydney Opera House was an awesome experience in itself.
