Love the Lord your God: FIT day

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. John 13:34-35. On Tuesday, we had the team from Crusaders come down from Sydney to do some training with a group of our 5/6 students. We were joined by other students from Nowra Anglican College, Shellharbour Anglican College and Illawarra Christian School. With a game show theme, the Crusaders team had us hooked from the start. We played lots of fun games which we will be able to teach others at our CRU lunch time meetings. We learnt about loving God and loving others. In our break-out groups we discovered ways of putting God first at home, at school and at CRU. We discussed ways of encouraging others and building each other up. It was great to get to know students from other schools over recess and lunch. Thank-you to all the parents and carers who supplied the morning tea. It was very much appreciated.
