Mayor visits NCS and congratulates Stage 3 students

November 16, 2018

On Tuesday, 13 November, students in Years 5 and 6 were privileged to host the Shoalhaven Mayor, Cr Amanda Findley.

Led by our Primary Prefects, the gathering showcased the work of Stage 3 students. Stage 3 had participated in a local government initiative exploring threatened flora and fauna in the Shoalhaven region. Students submitted a variety of projects that highlighted the species under threat and the challenges these species face.

All students' projects went on display in the foyer of the Shoalhaven City Council building and seven students received a Highly Commended award from Mayor Findley with their parents present. Congratulations to: Corinne C, Emma S, Jesse R, Chelsea L, Hugh P, Erik K and Darcy T (absent).
