Tessa reports on RYPEN

Every year Nowra Christian School gives students from Year 10 the opportunity to attend RYPEN.

RYPEN stands for Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment and the local Rotary Clubs sponsor each of the participants.

The program is designed to encourage teenagers to interact with peers from different backgrounds, and to improve their teamwork and leadership skills.

The camp was held at Old Mogo Town over the weekend of 12 - 14 May, operating over three days. The program consisted of interactive sessions with leaders from significant organisations, workshops, sporting events and entertaining activities.

Throughout the duration of the camp I learnt many things, had great experiences and made strong friendships.
