Year 1 & 5 visit the show!
On Friday 10 February, Year 1 and their helpful Year 5 buddies attended the Nowra Show.
There was so much to see and enjoy, including the animal enclosure with baby chicks, guinea pigs, piglets and No Drama Llama.
Sitting in the shade of the trees, we watched the horse competitions. We saw model drones and experienced Air force simulation goggles. Even in the heat, the wood chopping competitors speedily chopped and sawed the wood.
The Pavilion was the place to find our NCS friends’ competition entries.
We watched Mr Cochrane demonstrate how to milk a cow and enjoyed a cool bottle of strawberry, vanilla or chocolate milk afterwards.
Last, but not least, we were treated to delicious mini doughnuts from NCS Year 5 parents who were at the show with their doughnut van. Thank you very much, Jane and Matthew!
What an amazing day we had at the showgrounds!
Thank you so much to our parent helpers on the day. We appreciate you coming with us. Also, well done to both sets of buddies, our NCS students in Years 1 and 5. You were so very well-behaved and patient with one another.
We look forward to more adventures together this year.
